When did it all begin?
Many hid their sexuality in the past because they were either confused or afraid of the reaction that they would receive. It was in the 1900s that the sexuality had peaked out.
What was the reaction?
The reaction wasn't so pretty as expected. Rights became violated as soon as it was suspected or known that someones sexuality was different. From as early as 1950 organization were created to respond to the discrimination.
